Wow, I like that Ang Khola alot! I'd pick it up if I weren't holding out for a few other key pieces. Good sharking all!

Those Tibetan Chuppis are really nice and will highlight your collection.
I was lucky to get one a while back, 1 of 2 that came in. Its really nice and you will enjoy it. Definetly a good conversation piece to show off.

My luck has been great the last couple of days. Last night I beat a 7 way tie for first place in our weekly football pool, by picking 49 total points for points scored in the Jets v. Vikings game. Pretty good for a game delayed by rain with a half time score of 9-0...
Thus paying for the Chuppi, as well! Today is a good day.

Well there was only one this time as I asked. Good snag Abaniko! I guess it wasn't meant to be though you've been here far longer than me. I am sort of getting rid of a lot of stuff anyway, getting to the point where I need money more than I need another blade. :D

Both the 18" Siru and GBS are tempting. Regret that my new born daughter woke up a bit late last night asking for milk, then I missed the DoTD.

Cheers,

Hung

Congrats garand1911 if you got the Sirupati. I was tempted myself but I already have one in that size. Mine isn't by Tirtha though and he is one of my favorites.

Wonder what is up with all the horn handled Parangs? I guess they must have gotten a hold of some green horn that wasn't quite ready to be made into a handle. I'd like to know how that one really big crack that was posted finally turned out too. Some of these don't look all that bad really but it is hard to tell really, it would be nice to see someone post up a nice horn handle fix eventually... not that there is all that much to it. Just put some thin super glue into the crack(s) and wipe off the excess, wait for it to dry and chop away! :D
