Ems for Gopte/m-43.
Yangu, I haven't received a response from you for my previous emails and just want to make sure they are getting through ok. I'll be sure to include my username, which I've forgotten to do once or twice.
Thanks,
Joey

Waiting to hear how the "Done Deals" go for everyone. Sounds like you all are going to be getting some great deals if there aren't any stealth sharks around.

Thanks for saving me from buying the M-43. I already have three now, but that one would have filled in a "gap" between two of mine.

Email mailing address and payment method for Gopte and M-43, Joey

Many thanks to Yangdu! I purchased the Gopte but the M-43 should still be available for one of you lucky folks. :)

EMS for 15 inch 29 ounce M-43 by Kumar. Got the Done Deal.

I was waffling about this one when it was first posted, then regretted not trying for it, so when Pinocytosis told us it's still available I jumped on it. By the way, I looked up pinocytosis and found this: "a mechanism by which cells ingest extracellular fluid and its contents." So we might have a cell biologist in our midst. Either that, or a big drinker.

I've been wanting one of these 15" blades at 2 oz per inch.

There's been quite a bit of discussion about the best length and weight for different people and different uses. One thing I've noticed is that it's easier to handle a short heavy blade than a long blade of the same weight. Probably because the weight is concentrated closer to the hand, although that also varies by model type. This M-43 won't chop as fast as an 18-inch M-43 of the same weight, but it will be easier on the hand and wrist, and it will get most jobs done with no trouble at all.

Also, the price is great.

david, those are interesting points. I actually bought two more M-43 (three total now) just to compare how they feel in hand.

Two are the same length, different weights. Two are similar weight, different lengths.
