Well I have six done for OKCA. I thought I would post a group shot for the folks who can't make the show. My face knives have been doing well so I made 4 of those, 3 hunters and 1 bowie. The other bowie is one I posted with the pins, I swapped out the center pin for copper so they would not look so crowded. All of the guards are wrought iron, butt capps are pure iron, and a variety of my steel. Amber stage on the small hunter. My table is B17, if your there say Hi.

Nice batch. Love those patterns on the steel. I will try to see em before they are gone.
Drive safe, see ya there.

I am looking forward to handling these in person. Do you do the face carving yourself? They are interesting.

Dave, Did I tell you I use to shrink heads? I can tell you about it at the show, Sunday is normally a good story day. Looking forward to seeing your new work in person.

You know, I gotta say that those, and other of your knives, are extremely appealing. I totally think you're on to something. I think you outta keep doing this stuff the way you think you should be doing it.

Thank you Lorien I will keep trying to make them look good to me. and hopefully they will look good to others.

I think I have said it before but I doubt if you will mind hearing it again. You make some great damascus. A nice line up for the show. It's going to be a good one if your and Ray's pieces are an indication of what will be there.

Like I said man, you can't go wrong!(to thine own self be true, and such).

I am severely yearning to get down to Oregon for this show, I could drive there in a day, (long day). But I got a shop to run and a family to consider, plus the grey sock fund is going to be dispersed to Mr. Foster and Mr. Goo in short order, so I'm a little bummed to not be going. But that's life.:). Maybe when I'm older;).

Mr. Lisch, I love your knives so much I've added you to my short list:thumbup:. Not a huge honor I know, but just so you know, it's a pretty short list. I'll be getting in touch when the grey sock fund gets some meat on its bones.

This forum is killing me $ $ $

that drop point in the top of the picture is awesome! And that pinned handle fighter looks nicer to me every time I see it.

Thanks Kevin that is good to hear coming from you I will keep trying to reach the point you wish to add me to your line up . Lorien, it sounds like I will be in good company when you call for a knife from me. My list is short, you will not have to wait long but, that could change, I hope.

Nice lineup Dave - some beautiful damascus for the blades. I dig the faces. That little stag hunter is particularly sweet.
