When I started this new push I ordered three 12" Old Hickory Butcher knives from SMKW for $5 each. You've seen this pic!

Well here are the six knives I got from the three OH Butchers. Three are Nessmucks, and three are my Adirondak Patch knives.

I made mosaic pins for the Nessmucks, and used some blue jean mikarta I made on one of them. They're 6.5" long, with 3.5" being blade. I've convexed the grind. The other handles are teak, and property walnut. None are finished yet. They'll get a leather sheath.

The patch knives will get a boot knife belt clip sheath. Their handles are teak and lacewood. Made some design advances here. The there are only two structural pins. The shepards cross is farther down the handle, and purely decorative. On the teak handled one one drillhole wandered. What can I do to prevent that. The lacewood one the holes are correct.

Andy I'm going gaga here. You seem to be moving up exponentialy skill-wise.

What started out as being crafty is turning into artistry in short order.
I don't think there is any limit to what you will accomplish.

High praise. Thanks guys. These are fun. They'll be Christmas presents mostly.

Thanks guys. These smalley Nessmucks are going to be one of my favorite knives. Small and light. Maybe neck style. Mmmmmmm.

Done. Now for sheaths.

Damn, those are beautiful Andy! I really like the middle one and the bottom one on the right in your last pic. Those big bellied blades look sharp and functional as hell.

You are way ahead of me skill-wise, but when drilling holes carefully I always drill a smaller pilot hole with the drill press, and then follow up with the final size. In hard material it is often easier to get a fast-moving small sharp drill to bite before going with a slower turning larger size. Use a prick punch or automatic center punch first before using the first drill.

At this rate in a few years we'll be paying a few hundred bucks for your stuff! :D

Thanks bro! I imagine you guys are tired of my posts. I can't express my gratitude to this group of guys for encouraging me in this hobby.  I'm really excited to see your knives when finished and the sheaths you come up with for them too.
