Size and shape of the handle on the 560/561 is Just Right for me

I got a 561 a few days ago. With all the talk of the handle of the 560/61 being thinner than the 550/51 I wasn't sure if

I'd like it. I like big knives with big handles. My edc before I got my 561 was my 301. No the 561 hasn't kicked the 301 out.

The shape, width, length, ergos, and texture of the g-10 and ti are near perfection for me. I Really like the looks and feel

of the g 10.

I don't think I've ever had a folder with g 10 that I like as much as the g 10 on my 561. Fantastic job the the g 10 and the ti scales ZT!

Anyone else like the handle on the 560/61.................
 
Yes, it's pretty near perfect. If you're needing a big folder, I'm not sure what else could make it better.
 
I like them. It's a real deal knife. You can tell that just by holding it. I was amazed how light and thin it felt. That's alot of knife to be carrying in that package, and then you add the fact of the low-ride pocket clip. Light, but still very strong. Almost 4" blade but it disappears in the pocket. I actually forgot it was in my pocket a few days ago.
 
I love it - the 056x series is an epic win IMHO :thumbup::thumbup:

The handle fits me great as does the 0551, and 0301. All amazing knives. The 0560 has been my EDC since I got it, not that the other two won't see pocket time soon. However, my BM's, Spydercos, and even my Lone Wolf T2 Harsey are sitting in the safe. Only when I need a "gents" knife does something else emerge. :)
 
Cant speak for the 056x but the 055x series fits me great. The only other folder that feels as good in hand for me is the Manix 2, yet I like the 055x much better.
 
Feels great to me too. Mine didn't need any "dehorning" or anything some other people are doing. And I love feeling the flipper there as a finger guard.
 
It does feel awesome in the hand. I picked up my 551 the other day after messing with the 561 for a while and couldn't believe how different they feel. Both are great, but totally different animals.
