Size comparison GEC 42 vs 72

Havent seen any size comparison pictures between the 42 and 72 (both with clip blades), thought I would post up a picture for anyone interested.
Also interested in what peoples opinions are on the different sizes with similar patterns, which do you prefer?

I prefer both the size and the long pulls on the Northfield #72s.

I dislike the nail nick inside the swedge on the new #42s, the earlier #72s got it right.

Nice comparison. I sometimes wish I had not sold my Northfield cocobolo 72.

I tend to agree with you on that. I like the 42 pretty well but I do prefer the 72 with its long pulls, and its big enough to do most anything I may need it for.

I'll take the 42. I honestly never notice the pulls and I guess I prefer the long pull, but I like the slightly larger size of the 42.

Really like your GEC brand 72, I have yet to aquire any of the GECs with the stainless blades.
