I'm looking to purchase either an alox pioneer or farmer, but I don't have anywhere near my home where I can go look at them. I currently have a tinker that I carry as my backup knife. I was hoping one of you guys had all three models and could give me some idea where the two alox models fall, in comparison to the tinker, size wise. Primarily I'm curious about actual thickness. As always, pics are a plus. Thanks for the help!

Sorry, I don't have pictures for you. I have a decent approximation though. I think of alox scales as 1 less layer than cellidor scales. Thus a 3 layer alox like the farmer is about equal to a 2 layer cellidor tinker. Not perfect, but usually close. (Scissor and pliers layers are usually subtly thicker than knife/can opener/saw layers)

You can also reference the wiki page, they reference the tinker at 13.7mm, the farmer at 14.0mm, and pioneer at 11.6mm.
