whats the size of your blades? and how many do you carry/use?how do you carry them. inside, outside the pants,hor.,ver.,tilted?
thanks

I carry one Kershaw folder, 3.5". It is carried in the pant pocket, with the clip on the outside.

AFCK sub-4" folder, in pants pocket.

Sorry I can't resist: "It's not the size of the blade in the fight...."

Best,

Emerson LaGriffe (1.5"), horizontal under belt w/ just the butt sticking out, center front.

When in civialian dress or garrison uniform I rotate between a Spyderco Police, Benchmade Stryker, and Spyderco Military. All are clipped in my strong side front pants pocket. All work reasonably well within my Manaois Eskrima training at my skill level. I also use a large varity of training blades in practice. I have trainers that match the size and shape of my carry knives and longer fixed blade trainers aso. I also regularly train with a large 15" bladed barong trainer and a 17" bolo trainer. In Iraq I rotated between a Gerber MK II, a CS SRK, and a CS Tanto attached to my IBA and Tactical Tailor MALICE Vest with the same folders clipped in my DCU pocket. I find a fixed blade of about 6" to 7" to work the best for me combativley. Here is a little secret, a lot of the FMA guys I know are really not that into knives and most dont even EDC a knife, at least in the states. In the PI its a different story.

Whether I'm in uniform or not , I carry at least 2 and normally 3 knives . A "waved" CS 4 " folder on my strong side , and Spyderco Endura on weak side , and usually a fixed blade of some sort in a waistline highride postition weak side .

A 5" CS Voyager Serrated Tanto point in right front pocket and a Spyderco Endura in my right back pocket. The Spyderco is more of a utility knife I use around my ranch, so it isn't normally as sharp as my Voyager. It is always there for a backup though.
