These two are currently my favourite knives. The Model-T fits as a user EDC... well, to a "T". And since I got the SJ Tac in, I haven't been able to put it down: I love the quickness of it, and it just feels right in all hand positions.

I also want to mention that the Model-T sheath that David Brown made for me is truly *the bomb*. He did such a fantastic job on it -- it's trim, snug, and yet at the same time the "thumb thingy" (yes, that's the technical term for the slight flare on the right-side opening) he made on it allows me to pop the little guy out of the sheath with no effort. The G-clip on it is from Normark's capable hands.

I've purchased a few sheaths, a knife, and other gear from David Brown, and I have always experienced prompt communication and friendly replies. Totally top-notch stuff and a good guy to deal with. I'm sure he gets tons of e-mails so if you don't get a timely response just e-mail him again and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

Heh, thanks Stabber! Actually I think for the SJ Tac I will probably be going the Spec Ops route -- for my NO-E I have a Normark concealex, Kenny Rowe leather, and a generic nylon/kydex sheath, and it seems most comfortable in the latter. I'm not sure why but after a certain size, plain plastic doesn't seem to be a good fit -- for example, the concealex NO-E sheath just rides too high such that the handle of the knife gets in the way. I would be tempted to try one of Okuden's drop-loop rigs with a thigh strap, but at $78.75 it gets prohibitively expensive, especially once I factor in S/H, exchange rate, etc.
