SJ Tac on the scene!!

Well,my Extravaganza Black SJ Tac w/Snakeskin handles arrived yesterday. So very cool. Really an awesome Blade!! I spent 18 months in Nam in Recon in "69-70. Believe me,I would have LOVED to have this very Blade then!!
I even got a cool hand written Hi! from Amy-O. Now,how cool is that!?
Actually,I started to post about this this morning before work,but I read Amy's post about her friend and kinda got derailed for awhile.
Remember the good times with her,Amy!!

Question: About the Spec ops sheath. I recently saw a SJ Tac for sale with a kydex sheath and a small Spec ops sheath.
Is that the correct size sheath for the SJT--Small vs. Large?

If you don't already know careful of the screw on the lil one towards the bottom. I put mine in and didn't notice till there was a small roll on my edge, I took it out and replaced it with a zip tie. That was after shaping the insert too.
 
I put mine in the small spec-ops sheath, but you have to remove the screw that holds the kydex in. The kydex stays put very well without the screw.
 
Thanks guys. Small sheath--loose the screw that holds the kydex insert in.
I'll let you know how it is this weekend. Gonna be some play time coming up!!

Alex, I already have.......but I am so glad that you got it!!!!!! and please do not feel derailed.....I am Amy-0 .........and I deal with stuff as it goes .....I have said it time and time ........blah blah ......You "ALL" get me thru all the "crap".............that happens......... Thanks Again!! and never "ever" feel like like you are derailed.............

I donned a heavy pair of leather work gloves and molded the insert slowly over the stove eye (kind'a like milking a cow;) ) until the small one fit my SJ perfectly with the screw. Try as I did, I had to loose the screw for my beloved HR to fit the short one however.

Congrats on the SJTac. I have mine in a large Spec Ops sheath and it fits fine also. Can't wait to see it next year at the show and see what kind of wear that bad boy has ;)
