I have a sj75 full stealth and it is only 3 months since I bought it from ebosshoss.com. The lock bar locked up secure and early when I received it but as it broke in it moved over slightly & after a few days it moved to the point where there was no spring left in the bar and it started with rock lock, I sent it to mick and he fixed it i got it back, but over a few days the same thing happened, so I talked to mick and sent it back and he replaced the lock side and the blade ,it came back with early lock up and no play but now the new lock bar has worn slightly, but enough to make it so the bar no longer has spring enough to fully engage the blade. Now I know that the bar will wear a bit on a new strider usually not to the point where there is no spring left. But on other models I will just take it apart and bend the bar slightly and everything is finewhen I put it back together. So I do not want to send the knife in again for something I can fix on my own but has anyone taken one of these apart before because the are press fitted and I am afraid I will not a. Get it apart or b. not get it back together. Is my only opiotion to send it back or can I somehow get it apart and use say a vise to put it together again.

You should make a detailed note, and tell them you put it in the forum so it does not happen again.
I am sure they will help you and it would help prevent it from happening again if future batches.
You are not only asking them to fix it, but you are helping them in fixing the problem that caused it.

Thank you I think I will send it. It's not that there was anything wrong with the knife. It is perfect but it just seems to wear in and the wearin period of the lock bar is surpassing the amount of spring that the bar has in it. I've just fixed the same problem with ease in the past and I hate to bother them for a third time but your right I have no idea how they get it apart and how they get it back together and I don't want to even try. Thanks guys

Good for you.
The spine of that knife looks very nice btw.
Sorry you need to lose it. I handled one a a knife show. It was comfy. The only one my wife cared for by them.

The knife is great I bought it and liked it so much I had to buy another so I could feel ok about carrying the full stealth, and having one I kept in a display, so I bought a one off that has a stealth black blade and a anodized blueish purple handle and that one the bar wore a little more then the stealth but the lock bar had more spring so it is solid
