SJTAC and BATAC question

very close to the same width.

Basically, the BATAC is a one inch shorter SJTAC.

Yes, the width of the blade (from Spine to Edge) of the BATAC is wider than the SJTAC. And as David E point out the SJTAC is also 1" longer. Most people don't notice it but the SJTAC handles are also slightly narrower with the humps less pronounced than the BATAC.
