Is it true as listed in Bussecollector.com that they went for the SAME price back in the day? $427 ea?

For those that have both - how do they feel next to eachother. I find that my SJTAC (not LE) feels more of a figher than anything yet my BATAC feels like a chappah, albeit small. What's that SJTACLE and more importantly, the HOGSJTACLE feel like? I gotta believe the extra thickness makes it choppy-feeling.

(As if I'd use any of my knives. LOL)

There was a Double cut with snakeskin offered during a ganzaa. I believe they were rejected LEs. I think they are the same thickness as LEs.

My HOGSJTACLE doesn't feel like a chopper at all.

It has the same balance as a standard SJTAC, but it just feels more substantial.

Also, it is handsomely finished.

Just a rule of thumb, the last column of my catalog is the year, I only populate it IF I originaly got the information from the web archive. You can use it as a starting point to find the original webiste.

This might be a typo as one of the sites said .187 for a HOSJTAC LE and the other said .22, I wasn't sure so I listed both.

Yeah, the standard SJT was roughly .180 and the LE (along with some customs) were .220, making them HOG.

There was the HOGSJTAC which was .220 I believe with standard snakeskin slabs D/C finish and the HOGSJTACLE which was also .220 with magnum tiger slabs and satin finish which was numbered as well.

:)

I saw it when he dropped the price and thought, "Hmmmm. Kydex scratches??? What do I care? That's a good price. . . provided there wasn't both a HOG and regular SJTACLE."

Can't wait to get it now.

You'll love it. I've got a standard SJT and a Custom that is built on the LE frame (tiger hide, .220, etc.)

The SJT is a svelte fighter.

The .220 version feels completely different to me. Not exactly a chappah but a very thick, robust blade.

Congrats!

You'll like that knife! You got a great deal on it. Funny enough...that one used to be mine :p I sold it to the fella you bought it off. Those aren't kydex scratches, just some light rubs from a leather sheath

Thanks, guys. Rubs schmubs. It'll make it more likely for ME to possibly some day in the future considering thinking about actually taking it out of a drawer and USING it.

It's a great all-around. I really like mine (second down)...
