SJTLE vs HOGSJTLE

Can someone here please enlighten me to the difference between these two blades.

I have one of each and there does not appear to be an ounce (ok I really did not weigh these) of difference. Both were 0.22 with my calipers.

Both have SS handles with one a slightly darker shade than the other.

Any ideas?

they're both one in the same. The LE is the HOG and the HOG is the LE. or is that.................. aw man! I just confused myself :confused:

but ya, one thing for sure, they're one in the same. ;)
 
What a dragg! You have 2 LE's and they turned out to be the same.
I'd hope that someone would help you out of this disapointing mess and give you what you paid for one, so that you can get something different.
I guess I could help you with that.
 
well I was wondering. But I tought the HOGSJTLE were not available until maybe last month. the other one I got back in March.

Slow down Dwayne, just count backwards from ten, sit down and sketch out a pattern or something. :D
 
Let's be absolutely clear about this:

The HOGSJTLE is numbered and has Tiger Stripe scales with a satin blade.
There were also two HOGSJT versions offered during the Minumental Extravaganzaa.
These were Double Cut blades with either Snakeskin (page 4) or G10 scales (page 10).
Jerry said that they were LE versions that didn't quite meet his expectations for satin and thus got blasted.
The pictures have disappeared from the threads, but maybe someone saved them elsewhere.

Here's a DC from the Extravaganzaaa. There were a few small grind marks near the spine on the right side of the blade. This is the reason that it was Blasted and sold for less then the LE. :cool:

The only thing the marks did for me was make this an instant user. I'm getting buried with this one. :D

That's true, so not all HOGSJT's are LE's. But all LE's are HOGSJT's. Make sense?
