S sportingspecialist - more like snark specialist :)

I was looking at the Compadre for my first Buck Fixed and the SK one showed up on my Instagram.
Apparently reading and comprehension aren't in your bailiwick.:)

I just have the original compadre.....
It's a great knife. I like the feel of it in my hand.
I think there is a difference in blade steel tho between mine and the SK one.....

It would make a great camp/ outdoors knife.

P.S.
Welcome.
I see your a paying member that supports the site......

And then there's always the ignore member option.....

So you believe your above comment qualifies as cordial and friendly?
I feel like your tone was snarky so was playing along and then you went personal which I haven’t experienced here yet.
Sorry if I wasn’t friendly. I will have a better filter next time.

it looks good. I thought Sk said it wouldnt be ffg, more fg, but it sure looks like it is ffg. I prefer it being ffg, so I'm excited about it.

Full flat grind will work  Should be a nice slicer. The handle looks great, so does the sheath! I like how this turned out :) It will be a real user!

I really applauded SK for running off these small batches of nice knives.

This one looks like one that’ll be popular.

I’m really hoping though that eventually SK will do something with the 303, or better yet, the 703. But I’m guessing perhaps the demand isn’t there. Larger, pocket clipped & fixed bladed knives, seem to draw the best.

But I don’t want to derail the thread. Nice job SK on another great piece! I like the burlap micarta. Personally, I would have preferred a true upgraded stainless, but nothing wrong with D2. A tough steel.
