This fixed blade might qualify as traditional (Remember that Buck used Micarta scales on the first run of 112 Rangers almost 50 years ago.), however, the Kydex sheath might convince you otherwise. But...my purpose here is to identify the maker:

Has anyone seen this mark before? It seems familiar to me, but I can't place it. It appears to have been stamped with two separate stamps. They are not stamped at the same depth, and the S is upside-down to my eye. The blade appears to be tool steel, made via stock removal. Can anyone suggest a maker? Thanks for watching. T-A

Googling around on 'S. K.' knife/knives, there's a maker by the name of Steve Kelly with patterns of a similar aesthetic. His current knives are more elaborately marked as 'S. K. Knives' - I have no idea whether it's the same 'S K' as shown in your example. But maybe a possibility. If so, you might drop him an email (search on S.K. Knives for his site) and ask if he recognizes it.

I checked with S.K. Knives, and Steve responded that this knife was not one that he made. The trail has gone cold! But it certainly was worth a try. Thanks, T-A
That doesn't surprise me, actually. So many knives out there like this one, with vague markings on them. It's usually hard to pin them down to a specific maker. MIght be a one-off project by an aspiring hobbyist/maker, or maybe the initials of the original owner, but not the maker.
