sk5 vs 1095

Hi I'd just like to see how you guy think these to steels compare. I have a cold steel bushman and am thinking about a becker knife.
 
They're very similar steels. SK-5 is slightly tougher and 1095 will hold an edge slightly better. You won't know the difference other than how the two companies heat treat their steel, which is far more important than the steel used anyway.
 
I've used my SK-5 Trailmaster pretty hard, chopping different kinds of wood mostly, and I'm very impressed with how well it holds an edge. I dont have any experience with 1095 but from what I understand its a pretty basic tool steel, much like O-1. I would think they are all much of a muchness. Tough, sharpen easily, and will rust if neglected. How they are heat treated and ground will make the most difference at the end of the day.
