Well, my 5 year old has been camping many times, but usually in the camper!
So it was suppose to be nice out, so we set out for a quick overnighter and some fishing at a local area.

Planked up one filet and cooked it up for supper
Turned out great!
Went to take a leak and was greeted by this little guy, scared the pee right out!
Sandhill cranes are in the area right now and we had to listen to the racket they make all weekend! But they are cool to watch fly
Also came across this guy, no idea what it is, just took a couple pictures and let him go on his way

When he finally decided to get up,
And right back to fishing!
He did well!
And eating is oatmeal before we took off for home!
And I had bacon, Skog style
We had a great time, got to do some camp craft and knife work with the kiddo and the weather was great, I don't think it go under 40 degrees!
He can't wait to go again. And me either!
