I was lucky enough to win the contest earlier and my Marksman just arrived in the mail today. I'm in the middle of a move, so pics are a no go, but I wanted to give a huge shoutout to SKBlades and Buck for absolutely nailing this one. The knife is virtually perfect and the action is out of this world.

As an added bonus, I also got the original concept art and the 3D printed model along with the knife itself. I just think this was such a neat detail and thanks again to SKBlades for setting it all up!

Mine came with a pin!

I do like the look of that model, especially this build out, but it is a bit too large for my taste for pocket clipped carry. Wish it was around 4" closed.

Great knife though.

I received a couple of these. Very nice knife. Competes very directly with the Spyderco PM2. To wit:
fun to flip, bomber lock, great ergos, s35vn steel, very utilitarian 3.6 oz.
I actually like the blade shape better than the pm2.
Downside to this limited version is the blade grind is a bit thick for an EDC blade compared to the 154cm version. Also, I'm going to grind off the lateral jimping-it's unnecessary and creates a hot spot when doing hard cutting. I may also replace the bearings with bushings to make it a little stronger laterally.
Very hard to beat for $125 though. It's a great knife-get em before they're gone!

Had no idea these were coming out! They look awesome. I might have to sell off some stuff in order to get one.

I'm a big fan of the aluminum Marksman, and the G10 coupled with S35VN makes it that much better. Good job SKB and Buck!

Nicely done with the upgraded steel. Would have loved to seen a 4" blade version, with that strong lock design. Another wish list.

Any chance you would be able to post a side-by-side pic of old and new versions? I'm curious about the differences you see. Thanks

I just ordered the SKBlades S35VN + G10 version, based on fabulous reviews of the stock version. I figured if the stock was that good, it was worth a few shillings more to make it even better. Now the wait for the postman begins.

SK Blades has a 830 Marksman with black oxide S35vn blade called the "Dark Operator" listed on their website.
