Did a trade for a skeleton fat Warden, and damn, if this isn't a great little knife. I am still rethinking my sale of my muddy Meaner, but I think this one is the gateway. At first, I didn't like the lack of thumb ridges. Now, after using it a lot, I couldn't care less.

...A Skeleton FAT Warden??? Hey!! Ya can't just tell us, and then walk away... We need pix!! :D:thumbup:

Hey, it could be done pretty easy. Get one of them fat Wardens last month (blue, tan, red, whatever) and drill out the scales. BRILLIANT! Fat skelly. (Isn't that oxymoronic?)

Congrats, Glad you found a piece you really like:thumbup:
It's not to late to run...well it may be, but we are here for support

The skeleton GW's were pretty fat.

How are you carrying it? Do you think it is too big or heavy for a neck knife?

The black crinkle and muddy skellys were fat for GWs back then. .20" if I recall correctly. It would be cool to see pics of one of the real fatties with the handle slabs removed.

Okay, I am not knowledgeable in the Busse lexicon. I think I got it wrong. My Warden has a, what looks to be micarta, handle, and a very fat spine. Almost as thick as my BRKT Bravo-1.

Skeleton Wardens are .200", but they are neckers without scales. Bottom knife here is a skeleton Warden.

Cameras busted man, I am going to take a pic with my phones camera and try to upload it here. Here is a pic from the for sale thread.

That is one of the most recent fatty offerings. That's "black and tan" G-10, and you're looking at a .220" blade.

I forget what folks were calling that one, but it is a beauty. Congrats.

Thanks, it is perfect for EDC. Carry on the belt, or in the coat pocket. Someone mentioned neck carry, I haven't tried that yet, and think that the knife is too thick for that, for me anyway.

"Beer" Warden... ;) Get it? Black & Tan... ;);) :D LOL, I don't know its nickname either...

...Very cool, silenthunterstudios, how da ya like it?

I was amazed at just how light the skelly's were. I would think they would be fine for a necker.

That black n tan is a good combo. All of the last run fatties were sweet. I would prefer them a little thinner really but my EDC is a SAR (thanks Jaxx) and it aint skinny. If Jerry made those latest color combo's in satin and 140, I would be in trouble for sure.
