I now have 2 standard GWs and 2 skeleton Muddy Wardens and although I have reviewed back to page 10 here, cannot seem to locate what folks are using for sheaths on the "skeleton" Wardens.....

I have my orange and yellow GWs sheathed, one in the standard leather sheath sold there at Busse (nice little sheath once fitted to the knife, but all my belts are larger than the loop on it :( ) and the second in a Hedgehog Tom Brown "scout" sheath which works very well for the regular GWs w/ handles.

What are the most popular sheath choices for the skeleton Wardens?

Preferably something that'll work with either the standard "naked" skelly or a paracord wrapped one (as I wrapped one using paracord).

much obliged for the help,

As far as I know, folks are haivng the skelly sheaths made by any of the makers on the Busse site. Buy Brown is making one for me now, so you might not have to send him yours.
As for ready-made, buy it now sheaths, I don't know of anything that will be a perfect fit.

leatherman makes a great sheath for these, the badass.

also try leatherface, who works in kydex.

I stitched together two small pieces of leather once.
I used it as a pocket sheath for an active duty, and it covered the blade only.
It's what I use for my skeleton warden at work now, but if safety is a concern, it's not really the best solution.
Works for me though, as it is in a narrow pocket where it can't twist and drop out.
If I can get my brain to function, I'll bring it home tomorrow and take a picture or two.

Ah, found this older picture where you can see the sheath.
(underneath the red one)
It does not fit the wardens with slabs, but the skeleton is a match.
I remember making it because that was all the leather I had left after making a couple other sheaths.

Much obliged to all for the suggestions and the pic there Gunnar, (I like the simplicity of it) now if I could figure out which type I'd prefer to use for EDC.
