After RVO3VOM showed me his Skeleton Key at the show Saturday, I knew I had to have one. Ordered a Urban Camo.

Man, as Brown Hog has shown, those are just like some 'tater chips, can't have just one!!!

Gotta have a virgin one to use at the Induction dinner in Atlanta next year....

Just out of curiousity, How does the induction dinner work? Is it invite only? Do you have to sign up?

I was inducted at the Chicago custom knife show in a spur of the moment type thing.

I think all you have to do is forearm smash your way through the crowd on your way to the trough and hog some INFI right from under the snouts of the pork brigade.

Or just sneak up and snag the gem of the show....Right Stomper?

Whoa whoa.....thrust that hogdom somewhere else.... ;)

Induction of a hog has many facets. Some haven't been collecting very long, but they have the spirit of brotherhood that is the essence of hogdom, and forearm smashing to get INFI doesn't hurt either. :D Really though, we have always said it isn't about the number of blades but the sharing of a passion. Other hogs can tell when a guy (or gal) is ready for the mantle of "Hog". Perhaps the inducted or elder inducted should come up with a set of criteria to go by just to be safe, but it in the end it is still about the passion.

A hog...

goes out of his way to share his passion with the new guys, even if he doesn't know it all himself.

when faced with a newbie, remembers the joy of finding out about Jerry's products and having all these other folks guide him/her along the path to Hogdom.

occasionally employs subterfuge to beat other hogs to the trough (Trough Stomper's stealth mode is text book, but beware, when the cameras come out it will only work once!)

Goes to extreme ends to procure more INFI.

(Currently inducted hogs please feel free to add to this list those attributes you consider key to being a hog.)

Well said...

One steel to call them, One steel to find them, One steel to bring them here and in the darkness bind them...

:D

I have got to go to Blade in Atlanta then. Sudden vision of myself over eagerly forearm smashing my way through and knocking Jerry's booth over.

:o :D ;)

A Hogs gotta do what is needed to get the goods. Try disguising yourself as an old guy with grey hair, balding, with glasses and a bushy mustache. It works! ;)
