Skeleton Key Questions

I've got a little extra pocket change coming my way in the next couple weeks, and have a couple of questions regarding the Skeleton Key.

1. Does the satin finished verion have the Zero Grind?
2. Is there any new word on sheath availability?
 
The Skeleton Keys will have an extremely fine edge and be very sharp out of the box but it will not have a zero edge.

At this time there is no sheath however we may offer some sort of kydex neck rig as an option at a later date.

We had one of these Skeleton Key knives at the Blade Show in Atlanta and they were very, very cool.

I've got 3 on order and would like to see a kydex rig w/ mini Tec-Loc setup for horz. belt carry. My friend - the one who went w/ me to the Iron Range and brought his three oldest sons - just got his first Busse, a BAIII w/ SSN, and the SK will be his 2nd. He is going to get each of his 4 sons a SK and would also like a horz. belt carry kydex sheath for each of them. He keeps asking me if there is any news on the sheath options for the SK; now I'll just point him to this thread.

On another SK note -- I was wondering how the investigation into attaching SSN scales to the SK is going. When I spoke to Jerry a few weeks ago I asked about adding some Snake Skin, and he said that they were looking into it. I mentioned that the slots might make attachment more difficult, and wondered if any solution had been found.

Those arent slots, they're (from the book "Lonesome Dove") "sportin knives"........

I was half thinking about ordering a bunch of them and getting forks to match. INFI tableware, that's what we need.:D
 
LOL, great idea Nimrod! Maybe Rob can make us the sporks :D

I can't wait to get my key! I will most certainly be making a horizontal (multi-carry, actually) kydex rig for mine.

Marc, so even the satin version will be assymetrical?
