Besides the CRK Professional Soldier, RAT Izula and Becker BK-11, what other nice quality "skeletonized" knives are out there? Thanks!

buck mayo

crawford legionairre, falcon, etc.

snody dead ringer

tops has a number of them including mil spie 3, trailmaster, cqt etc.

there's honestly too many to list.

if there isn't a production that you like you can most likely find a maker to do a custom for a nominal price... considering after all it's a skeletonized design.

hope that helps

I've got a Ray Laconico that is probably the best knife I've ever owned. I really enjoy the look and feel of a skeletonized knife.

At one point I also had a Stars-n-Stripes Graham Razel. I really liked it but sold it to get the Laconico.

Dive knives are often made with skeleton-style handles. Gerber River Shorty, Tekna, etc.

For folding knives, the Spyderco Q comes to mind, as well as the new Spyderco S.

Ferhman thruhiker and he has a new skeletal one out now too

Swamprat Swampwarden

Buck Kaala - often underated but great one I think

This is also a fairly common style on the Knife makers - fixed blade for sale subforum.

Soon, the DPx HEST will be out, and can be used Skeletonized. Although I believe it will have handle scales.

Dude - that knife is gorgeous! I remember liking Laconico's designs in the past - if you dont mind me asking, what did that knife run you? If it's against forum rules or anything like that, then PM the reply, thanks!

This would be my perfect blade, if I could get it in titanium.

But alas, I'm not allowed a fixed blade.

Lots of neck knives like the Buck Mayo, BM Snody, CRKT Dogfish, Darryl Ralph CUDA (Camillus & AG Russel) are skeletonised.

There's also the LM Skeletool and many throwing knives are skeletonised too.

Thanks for all the replies. I really have my eye on the CRK Professional Soldier, but wanted to see my other options.

Böker Subcom FB is one, but don't expect it to come finished for you. Some sandpapertime and convexing it full flat makes it a knife.

Bark River Bravo necker ....stainless full convexed uncaoted blade...

edit: ...I just realized how old this thread is! How/why did this get brought back to life???
