I called Leatherman today and asked about the Skeletool ship date.
They said there are material quality issues and they wont ship 'til it's right.
So, this is looking like a Valentine's Day wish list item.
I can't wait.... but have to wait...
hopefully they will scrap the combo 154cm blade because it fails.
Fail how? Chipping out or snapping off? Or do you mean mechanical, as in lock failure? Or do you hope it doesn't sell? Why do you hate Leatherman so?![]()
I think he, like a lot of us, feels that a premium steel like that is best used in a plain edge format. If anything, IMHO, the standard version with the softer blade steel could use the combo edge more effectively.
