I called Leatherman today and asked about the Skeletool ship date.
They said there are material quality issues and they wont ship 'til it's right.

So, this is looking like a Valentine's Day wish list item.

I can't wait.... but have to wait...

cres, Thanks for sharing that info. I don't know if this is a good indication of the actual release but some stores are listing an ETA of Feb 15. If it's true than it's release may miss Valentine's day as well as Christmas. :( But good things come to those who wait (this better be good!!! ;) )

Fail how? Chipping out or snapping off? Or do you mean mechanical, as in lock failure? Or do you hope it doesn't sell? Why do you hate Leatherman so?

I think he, like a lot of us, feels that a premium steel like that is best used in a plain edge format. If anything, IMHO, the standard version with the softer blade steel could use the combo edge more effectively.

I agree about LM putting the serrations on the wrong blade... I'm not quite sure why they did that.

fail has been adapted in net lingo, anything you don't like or is just plain unfortunate can be described as fail

girlfriend breaks up with you?
