Skeletool CX

Just picked up a skeletool CX last week. Looking forward to using it I have the standard model but not overly fond of the blade but I like the model

I really like that they opted to put the plain edge on the CX these days. I bought one of the first runs over 10 years ago. I LOVE the idea of the tool, LOVE the upgraded steel. Hate that they put a very thick combo edge on the thing. The Skeletool is a great design. Truly minimalist and I could get along most every day with nothing more than the tool set it offers.

Yep I'm not a big fan of the leatherman serrations. This 1 will be getting a lot of pocket time I think.

I have been tempted to get the skeletool occasionally but I’m not big fan of the funky design. I know it has propably little to do with the function, but that’s how I am.. I really dig the orange rescue look though.

Love my Skeletool, which I picked up cheap on that big auction site. One of these days I aim to pick up a plain-edge replacement blade and install it.
