Thinking about getting a skeltool. I have a wave that I usually carry on my belt. but there are times I don't want something on my belt and I wonder if the skeltool fits nice in a back or front pocket? I want a full size pliers so a mini won't do....anyone carry a skeletool in pocket?

I also have the wave and recently purchased the skeletool CX for the same reason. I am very happy with it. It is lighter than the wave and fits in the pocket nicely. I say go for it- it's a great little tool. The one thing to consider is the plier is less needle than the wave.

I just picked up a freestyle for those times when I don't want something on my belt. The pliers seem ample for light use. The only down fall is that doesn't have a screw driver. I think the skeletool would fit just just fine in the back pocket, not sure about the front. It would definately be light enough to carry in a cargo pocket.

I have the Skeletool and carry it in either my RFP or RBP. I really like it and really don't notice it clipped to my pocket unless I am wearing dress pants.

Great design. Once again, I seem to have traded off or given away all my large multitools, except fo a Swisstool Spirit. But I don' t even carry that. The Skeletool goes in my gear bag or in winter, in an inside pocket of my parka. In the summer, it's lightweight enough that it goes in shorts pockets.

I bought a Skeletool a few weeks ago and it has already gone to a new home. It isn't a horrible MT, but I just like my old PST better (more tools, beefier pliers, similar weight actually.) On the upside, the Skeletool is pretty comfortable in hand, I like the bit-kit option, and the pocket clip comes in handy.

I've got one and I do carry it in the RFP. It fits there as good as any other knife. So good that I have to talk myself out of the skeletool when I want to carry a different knife, because I know I'll be losing all the other tools, for just a blade.

I carry mine as a "Sunday-go-to-meetin'" tool in my RFP, and when supplemented with a traditional knife, is a great EDC. Go for it!
