I bought a knife that looked a bit like a Sebenza, and I skeletonized it.

"youtube video removed"

While I have nothing bad to say about the work you have to done to your knife, it's not my sort of thing but it looks OK. That said, you do realise you have just come into a manufacturers sub forum and posted a video of a fake Sebenza that you bought and carry. That will get you no love here and neither it should. A poor show, my man, a poor show indeed. :thumbdn:

You resurrect a 5 year old thread to show off a counterfeit Sebenza?

The mod is actually pretty nice, especially since you went about it the hard way, but counterfeits aren't exactly welcome anywhere on the forum, let alone the manufacturer's forum.
Two thumbs down.

+1 To You Both....!!! Was Very Poor Taste Indeed.

I don't have much money, and I never worked with titanium before. It would be unreasonable to buy an expensive knife and modify it.

If I was going to buy a sebenza, It would have to be properly skeletonized (with triangles, not drill holes) to maximize the strength to mass ratio. I would also prefer the guard to be bigger.

I agree. You made no bones about the fact that it's a fake and the thread is now listed in the proper subforum, so I see no reason to object to it further. You didn't happen to weigh it before and after you skeletonized it, did you?

It's a cheap counterfeit, just buy a new one for the "before" weight.

That would work. But it might be simpler and easier just to answer the question.
