I'm blatantly stealing this idea from our Moderator, Rick Marchand who posted his first video on the how to dry your bic well over a year ago. I always thought that getting your bic wet was the fun part, but eventually you have to dry it

Unfortunately, Rick's original video is no longer up on Youtube because he changed his accounts. Anyhow the gist of this challenge is to immerse your bic lighter in water. I want to see a shot of your lighter fully underwater. Then I want you to use a piece of kit or clothing to dry it and get it to light.
According to Rick's video, you do not have to disassemble it and stuff. The moisture mainly collects on the little groves inside the sparker wheel. You can use a dry cloth and dry the wheel itself, or you can use a sharp object and scrape off the charred gunk from the wheel which is what holds the moisture.
Items to consider for dry cloth - look to your first aid kit, might have bandaids or a triangle bandage in a hopefully waterproof FAK. Use your socks, bandanna etc. Something that you would have in your kit.
Have fun getting your mini-bics wet.....Or for those of you with a full sized bic, you can use that just as well!
