I like bare blades for working, and I decided on a whim to strip one of my (only two) Bk1 brutes into a user. The black Camillus one is new-like and too nice and the grey (Blackjack?) one had some scuffs an acquaintance put on it before I got it. So it became the victim.
The grey finish comes off a LOT easier than the KaBar black! Kleen-Strip gel, as usual. Only one coating was required, with a plastic scraper.
The underlying finish had a unique appearance, a grayish tone w/ coppery highlights. I like it, and have decided to leave it this way.
Now re-scaled, with friends.
Needs only a set of Flexxx's red liners!
