Skinner pics.......First knife sense this summer's hardships

Well I finally got to finish a knife from start to finish,I just got it finished today.I know that it isn't a Bowie,But I was just wanting to do something to get my eye back.Now I can start on the new orders that have come in.
The specs on this are:
3 1/2 inch blade of my first attempt at a jelly roll patterned Damascus.
Nickel silver guard and stainless pin
Mastodon Ivory solid handle at 3 1/2 inches long
Hidden tang construction.
What do you guys think did I do ok on this or should I try another before I start on my orders.

Nice damascus pattern, Bruce! And a nice chunk of ivory to match!
Believe me, I know what you mean after more than a month without a belt grinder ( I bough a new one, sold the old one and couldn't get to finish the modifications in the new one). I just finished two knives in the last week - was getting desperate as the orders kept coming and I couldn't get to start them. It was a worthwhile wait, though, as this machine is much better than the previous one.

Lookin' good, Bruce. Proves that you can't keep a good man down. I know folks have trouble using their custom damascus blades, but that design just screams "use me"!

great looking little worker. i would pass on the mosaic pin myself. it would make it to busy to injoy the damascus and ivory. if i had the funds i'd order one right now.

Thanks for the kind words everybody.
The mix in the Damascus is a bunch of scrap end pieces of other Damascus and then pieces of spring and other things mixed in.You guys know me I like to make Damascus from all kinds of things mixed together.
