Boggs, I have your knife ground and ready for heat treat. Hopefully I can get that done this weekend, time allowing. The makers mark you see on this one is what will be on yours.

Shawn now all you have to do is start tapering the tangs and you will have it made. Mike
 
Mike, as soon as the flesh grows back on my finger from the last knife I tapered the tang on one I'll try again. You make it look a lot easier than it is. That or I am making it a lot harder than it should be. Maybe a bit of both.

guys, this knife was for me. It's UNBELIEVABLE in terms of fit, finish, ergos, etc.

The handle feels like it was made for my hand. I am really astonished at how comfortable it is.

I think I'm also sold on the skinner blade design. I've been using it around the house today and I really like the way it handles chores, even opening the mail!
