  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have a RHK Skinner on its way to me. So, I started thinking. I wonder how well this baby works in its intended purpose? Have any of you actually used one to skin out a critter? I'd like to hear how it worked because I believe these great knives are for more than flippin and fondeling.

I chased my Daughters Boyfriend around the outside of the house but .... I was just kidding (sort of)

Lol! Good one Rubi.

I have never skinned anything with a skinner.... :(

What made it funny (never gets old) If he had stopped long enough to turn around he would have seen I was chasing him with a stuffed bunny.
I guess he had been told some untrue stories about me. :)

I just skinned my knee falling down as I laughed at Rubi's post seeing it in my mind's eye...

Does that count?

:D

I will say "If" I were tackling a skinning job I would certainly grab that particular knife (If I owned one) You can see how the Blade shape and profile would be condusive to that particular job.
Imagine the hand work, angles and such involved in skinning and you can see how it is the perfect shape.

Now, Where the Hell did He Go !! :)
