What Busse's knives were made specifically for skinning/boning/capping? Last week while Bear hunting I
ended up using my Leaner Meaner Street to do most of the skinning and boning and it preformed pretty
good but not ideal. Working on a 425 pound black bear was a job. So what do ya recommend?

For skinning/boning, get a Scrap Yard SS4 or S5LE. Neither blade is overly thick or heavy, and the mudder Resiprene handles are da bomb for comfort and security when the going gets slick. Blade profile on the SS4 is very similar to the Meaner Street, S5LE gives you another inch which I like for boning out/skinning larger animals.

...oh, and it's Busses or Busse's--not Bussies. :)

Mini muk!!!

As for blades that aren't yet to be, I'd say go for a BAD, HOG Muk, Scrap Muk, or any of the other Scrap Yard blades mentioned above.

The Swamp Rat Safari Skinner, and Dog Skinner were made with field dressing in mind.
