hey guys! This is my first knife and first thread! Wwwoooooohooo!! ( Sorry for the excitement ) I made this knife with just a hacked saw and files and a lot of elbow grease! It's made of O1 steel. I have yet to make the bevel and handle, and that's why I'm here! I already have a plan on making the bevel but no idea on making the handle really. What do you guys think of the finger groove? To deep? I was thinking of making micarta for the handle but I kinda want the classic wood look like with some cherry wood that I have or maybe something more grainy ( if that makes sense!) I'm very open to ideas and suggestions! Please let me know what you think! I have plenty of steel for more knives but I might be getting a dremel tool or grinder to make this a lot faster haha.
