A nice little surprise arrived at the office today black on black SKINNY ASH !!!!!!!!! Talk about fast. The handle fits in my large hand like a glove. The balance feels very neutral and light. The only disappointment I have is the edge is not shaving sharp and currently I do not have any stroping supplies or and edge pro to clean it up.

I am torn to keep this as a user or if I should find a SJLE as a camp knife. Your input would help me on this decision.

Keep the ASH1 as a user..

Unless you are talking about the orig. SJ LE satin and black paper micarta...

Get some sharpening supplies and keep it! :thumbup: People that own knives, should also own the equipment to keep them properly maintained and sharpened.

Also, infraction points should be issued for not having the camera ready. :D

Ooooohhhh...I wonder if this means my Skinny ASH1 will get here today. I ordered as soon as the BCS came back up, before the Sage were sold out even. I'd better keep my pants handy.

My Skinny ASH arrived today and it is bleeding sharp! Sharpest knife I have received thus far.
