Ok. All this "skinny knife" business is getting out of hand. I want a slim Badger as much as the next guy but... I'd probably skip it if I knew there was a tubby Badger available. Just think of it. A 1/4" of INFI goodness in a BA3 package!

Or better yet... The "Oreo Badger"! 3 INFI laminations of 1/8" each. Satin on the inner lamination and your choice of black Crinkle Coat or Desert Coat on the outer two laminations...

Ok. Maybe the "Oreo" idea was a little over the top... :D

Aw, but I LIKE the skinny trend! Besides, Oreos have dangerous "trans fat" that can kill people.

Regardless, we wouldn't want people to associate Busses with this farce.

Zal,

That's even better! Ban Busse's in Kalifornia and that leaves more for the rest of us who live in sane and free places. Come on Boy! Think! Think!:p

Besides, I like slim wimmins and fat blades.

FOS,

Yeah, I saw your post on the 3/8" SJ after I wrote the above. I'd accuse you of stealing a perfectly good idea but the posting times don't lie.;)

"Everybody blames the fat man!"

Give me chips and beer any time over salad and water!

Give me the old fat badgers any time over skinny litter runts!

Give me...

That will do....;)

Buck Knives, has their "Classic Series" of fixed blades and event hough they keep coming out with new and modern models, they hold true to their roots. Who among us would not buy a 5/16ths Straight Handled Steel Heart of Jerry ran a limited run?

He could make then a quarter in longer or shorter so as to avaoid cunfusion with the authentic originals but I suspect that there would be a sufficient demand for them to make it worth his while.

I like thin women and fat knives. :D

Hey, great news! Only a few of us like slim knives. So the competition for the Anorexic Badger ought to be minimal, right?

Maybe this thread will convince Jerry that the new line should be offered in all 3/8 knives, like these guys

FAT JACK
Blubberly Badger
Clogged Steel Heart
Battling "Obesity" Mistress
Naturally Overweight Outlaw

:D :D

I just sold a BA-3. Neat little knife, just too skinny for my taste. My EDC is a SH fatty BA. I love it. I wish Jerry WOULD do a retro line of the slotted SH's. Make em in 3/8" too!! Those contured slabs are just soooo comfortable. Way better than the present micarta for comfort. IMHO

New fatty SHSH's??? I have 2,but would buy another in a heartbeat! Those and the fatty SHBA are my favorite Busse blades. I'm 95% sure they are A2 (the BA's) along with the fatty MS and would love to have the same in INFI. The SH's are infi,or at least 1 is cause I can see that infi texture under the smooth coat at the tang.

Yeah,a retro run would be the ticket. FAT retros!

Wet

Thanks for all of the help boys!;)

I'm pretty sure that most everyone on this thread is going to be wantin' on the Anorexic Badgers. . .

It's an Active Duty on Steroids!!!!

Very cool!!!

"I don't like small cars or real big wimmin, but somehow I always find myself in em'." :D

Don't forget the Inactive Duty;)

A 1/4" of stubbed and chunky Infi for prepping biscuits and gravy in the morning (before I go and take a nap) is just what I want when I grow up!:D
