skull & crossbones on a leek

I bought a group of Kershws from a fellow a couple of months ago. Several of the leeks had a design on one side. It was a skull & crossbones in a diamond shaped array. About 18 skulls all total.
I've got a pic but am not allowed to post attachment. Was wondering if anyone had info on this series of leeks. Some of the knives were in black, some in regular stainless finish. All are packaged in the new red boxes.

thanks,
bob

What is the part number on the box? Would a quick google search answer your question?

That's awesome! I have a feeling those are just laser etched by personal preference and were not a regular part of the lineup, but if anyone can confirm, it's Dr. Leek Freak!
I would tend to agree with those model #s

That's a true statement. It's an aftermarket thing.

From the description I'd guess it came from the same person on Flea Bay that has a ton of lasered leeks with "Infidel" and a koi and honeycomb pattern and what not.

It is possible to request these to be done about anywhere. Some wholesalers can do this for you at a set up fee and per unit cost. It is a good advertisement for some companies.
