Yes I have had the wood split when using a BM and then had the edge hit the cement. Sharpening knives is like cleaning guns, I do it only when necessary.

When I went to Blade last year I wanted a custom to remember my fist Blade show by and that it would be a knife that I'd use and remember all the good times every time I used it. I got two ADs and this is the one I kept.

When I use it I think of meeting Gravelface, Ducci, Cobalt, Skunk, Amy-0, Guyon, Guy, Jerry, Ron Hall, Progunner, Brown, etc. etc..... crap no wonder I drink.
