I've been flipping through a Spyderco catalog (last year's), counting up variations on the theme of the 3" (+/- 1/4") lockback folder with a clip. All have the Spydie-hump and the Spydie-hole. Some are wider than others.
Delica (lightweight, 3 edge options)
Delica II (all steel, 2 edge options)
Calypso Jr. (2 edge options, 2 handle types)
Rookie (2 edge options, 2 handle types)
Standard (G10, 2 edge options)
Worker (all steel, all serrated)
Jess Horn (micarta, now discontinued, I think)
Jess Horn (lightweight, 2 edge options)
That's 18 current options, before adding the W2K! What's missing? A 3" liner lock with the distinctive Spyderco blade shape, at least until they bring out a Military Recruit.
So what among them would make us howl with grief if it dropped out of the line?
The lightweight Delica is an essential, of course, as is the Worker, and the Micarta Calypso is one of the nicest sharp objects out there. The Delica II and the Standard are models I haven't gotten my hands on yet. Not even Spyderco has their whole catalog in stock all the time!
