And SpyKers smile turns upside down. :grumpy:

Don't give up the good fight! Keep hunting them down!

The hunt is what keeps you going, idk what I am going to do after I get the damascus... Of course there is that 1 digicam handle prototype that Thomas sent to a person... I wonder how much money and stalker skills it would take to track that one down and obtain it

I've also crossed off a couple on my list. The 1760RDSW and the 1760DAM (hopefully that one).

I have a feeling hitting an actual duck is going to be much easier than finding that ducks unlimited version... :grumpy:

Personally, I don't count the ducks unlimited version. I think that's just and after market alteration of the blade. Unless it has a separate model number, in which case I'd take it all back and start playing 'duck hunt'.

That one belongs to "he who shall not be named" on YouTube, and I ain't talking about Voldemort! I would love to have a digicam Skyline, wonder if someone would be willing to make a set of digicam scales to install on a black Skyline?

It doesn't have a separate model number but kershaw has confirmed they made the run specifically for the organization. That tells me there is no aftermarket about it, the knife was produced to be exactly what it is. Can't count a knife out because it's impossible to obtain. For example there is no way to get that digicam prototype Thomas sent out so my collection will never be complete unless they ever decide to make a run of them. Makes me sad but that's how it goes.

While I haven't seen where Kershaw confirms that they made the run for the organization, I'm sure your right. I still stand by "if it doesn't have a model number it's not official". At least for me. I site the two sticky posts at the top of the page: "1660 Leek: Boutique & Short Run Production Totals." and "Blur model numbers". Both of those knives have been around a lot longer than the Skyline and neither of them have "and the funky logo ones we did for Bob's Fish Emporium". Every one has a model number. For that matter, I don't even count the fixed blade Skyline (1084) as it has a different base model number. I picked one of each up of course, but that's because I have a knife problem :)

If I were able to pick up a Duck, ACU, Woodlands or "1 of 500" Skyline I would. I agree they would be a cool addition to the collection. It be kind of like getting a prototype blade, a neat addition to a collection, but not a required for a "complete collection". That said, power to anyone who sets their sites on one or more of those. I'd love to see a pic when you get it!

If I may ask this here...

Will the new Damascus skylines from Dave have the same model number as the previous versions?

And kershaw confirmed it on Facebook, a kid had one and asked about it and they responded saying it was one of a run they did exclusively for DU, that is actually the only one I have seen other than the one I have :), I just look at it as if they ever made it out of the factory to the public then they are one for a complete collection. Did they make one for ACU and Woodlands? It's like the misspelled Elmax that snuck through the factory on a few blades... Very elusive but the finishing touch for a collection. And a first production is totally a must for a complete collection :p. the rarer it is the better, that's what sets a collection apart.
