I was at Wal-Mart today and bought one of the Kershaw Skyline knives. The date on the blade is Dec. 08. I saw a post by Thomas somewhere on the forums that all the knives that used 13C26 would use 14C28N by Jan. 09. Just wondered if I got the old 13C26 instead. I wish all the Kershaw knives had the steel type on the blade beside the date. The Skyline is a real nice basic knife. It looks good and fits well in my hand.I like the spear point blade also. I have been really suprised at the quality of Kershaw knives at these low price points and being made in the USA. I have a few Taiwan and China made knives by well known manufacturers that have cost more and have lower quality.I am hooked now on Kershaw. David

Pretty certain that it's 13C26, because I don't believe that the skyline was a debut for the 14C28N upgrade.

13C26 is an awesome performer, better than VG-10 I've heard.

Its 13C26. Look for the complete changeover to be finished by March.

Here's a link to Thomas's intro of the Skyline.
