I recently go my hands on a 1760BLSW. I'm curious about this model as I don't remember hearing about it when it came out. Can anyone give me some further information on when one?

64 made, presumably from spare parts Kershaw had lying around after the build of the 1760BFC. It was released alongside the 1760RDSW, which itself was made of some spare red G10 parts. There were approximately 420-450 or something along those lines of the 1760RDSW.

They were only released on Blade HQ on January 9th, 2013, and the BLSW model sold out in about 4-5 hours. As you can imagine, they are extremely rare. I had two of them, and ended up selling one of them to Dave (kershawguy). That is now with him, so you can account for 3 of those models. Out there in the world, there are only 61 more to speak for.

These blades were stonewashed similarly to the 1760BFC, however are hollow ground 14C28N blades like a standard Skyline. Their hardware however is all plain steel without black coating as you would find on all other Skylines. I'm fairly certain these two are the only Skylines with stock plain steel hardware.

I bought 2 and gave one to the sisters colorblind boyfriend because it's one of the only colors he can see! So 59 more to go!

Thanks for the quick replies guys. That's a lot more rare than I expected from the price I got.

I have a red one. Can't get it quite centered, and even Kershaw has tried. Oh well, close enough. I still love the design and the looks. Wish I'd been around for the forum knife.

I have one, it's nestled snugly in a Kershaw storage bag with the rest of my Skylines (including an RDSW). One more accounted for!

You might want to check with spark. Last night I saw, they still had some available.

As I bought the 1760BLSW online, I didn't have it in hand yet when I started this thread. It was in my mailbox last Monday. I finally got around to snapping a picture of it with it's new adopted brothers. I think I have everything now except the bladeforums Skyline and the Damascus Skyline. Is that correct? BTW, Sorry for the super blurry picture. My wife is the photographer in this house and she's out of town right now.

It looks like you're also missing both the fixed blades (1084 & 1084OR), the original red (1760RD), the red Snap-On (1760RDSO), and also the Ducks Unlimited and First Production models.

And now I can hear weeping...

I have both fixed blades, but forgot to get them out for the photo. Well, the searching continues....

I have one too thanks to Chester he snagged it and I begged him for it 3 days after he got it.... 53 now!

Just added a 1760BFC Forum Skyline to the collection. Thought I'd share an updated family photo. I remembered to add the fixed blade Skylines in this photo too.
