It seems that ever so often, one of these "Black Edition" Skylines pop up that someone just fashions from a standard and brown/black Skyline. They'll often list it as "custom made" or whatever, but in the photos you'll usually be able to see the "1760BRNCKT" markings. There's one up now on the ol' auction area, but I've seen them countless times, usually with a $70+ asking price (clearly to make up the cost of both knives).

Not quite on the level of the Biohazard lasering, but still kind of a *facepalm* moment. Thoughts?

I just saw that too. The Orange/Black ones go for crazy numbers over there as well... I guess still cheaper than buying both models to make it yourself though.

I would be scared to buy them unless I knew that the liner and blade were from the same knife originally and i was just a handle change instead of just a blade change.

I did the black with dlc and brown with bead-blasted frankensk'lines for my own pleasure, no way I could part with either one!

It is crazy what they sell for but to the people buying ignorance is bliss! I have see a fair share of franken blurs over there too. But not with as great of results in price that is. I bet half of them will never look at the model number!
