What happened to the Stonewashed finish on the Skyline? All I can find are bead blasted blades. Will we see a stonewash blade on the Skyline in the near future?

As far as the blade finish, as I've said before, the factory is set up to do bead blast in volume. To stonewash a true volume moving knife could bottleneck us up. The Skyline showed itself early that it was going to move some numbers, thus the changeover.

There is no real reason for finishes that we utilize on any given model(s), other than what we think may look and sell the best.

What we really have to be particularly mindful of, is using a finish that will ultimately allow us to meet demands and deadlines. There are no good excuses in the volume side of our business.

It would be nice if the factory would have unlimited resources where we could do what we want, when we want...maybe someday. As of today, we do have limitations.

This is completely understood!

However, do I also hear the faint hint of a Kershaw Custom Shop in the future?:eek::D

I'm glad you are persistent and never-ending on this subject.

It saves me time from having to repeat it. :D:D
