So I got a skyline coming and I want to put the left for left hand tip up but it doesn't have a liner on the left side to tap into.
On my nitrous stryker I used one of the holes that the body screws use for one of the 3 screws for the clip and the other 2 holes i drilled and tapped my self into the titanium. I was wondering if for the skyline I could do the same thing and had it be enough to hold the clip. Essentially one screw would be in metal. The other would be in G10. I could also use a spare clip with 3 screws instead of 2 and have 1 in metal and 2 in g10. Though I still am not sure whether or not that will be strong enough to keep it from getting ripped out.
Ill post a picture of what I mean on the stryker. Since I dont have my skyline yet.
As you can see the top hole is one of the body screws and the other 2 I drilled and tapped myself into the titanium. On the skyline the top hole would be into metal but the other 1 or 2 depending on which clip I use would be into G10
