Skyline Deep carry options

I just received my brand new Skyline from my apartment's office today and I really like it. However, I had been wary of the pocket clip and unfortunately I was right, it really just rides too high in my pocket for work and EDC. I have tried looking at places such as knifekits.com and , but I am not sure where to get a low riding clip. If possible, I would prefer black, but that isn't necessary if it means sticking with the stock clip.

Also, I no longer have access to the tools I would like to, so modifying my current clip or fashioning another one is out of the question.

Does anyone happen to know the measurement (center to center) of the clip's holes?

Thanks for any suggestions!

So I'm guessing you work in a place where you tuck your shirt in and your pockets are exposed? I would just recommend you take the clip off and have it float around in your pocket, it really is pretty lightweight so it shouldnt feel like there is too much there.

I am currently carrying it just floating in my pocket, but would like the convenience and quick access of a deep carry pocket clip.

Yeah I prefer to carry with clip as well but I always have a tshirt on that obstructs the view of my carry knife so I dont know what to tell you =/

This does not directly address your issue, but you may also consider waistband carry. I do not care for this method, but some folks do as it may be less conspicuous than pocket carry (no clip shows on your pocket) but it still may provide quick deployment.

That's certainly true, though my belt may get in the way of quickly clipping it back on to my jeans. Also, since I live in the desert, sweat is a lot more likely to do a number on my knife if it is in contact with my skin as much as it would be for waistband carry. Thank you for the suggestion though, it may come in handy sometimes.

Yeah... I had seen that and like the work done, but have a hard time justifying a $30 clip for a $35 knife.

I believe the USA Knife Maker low ride clips will fit the Skyline. I'll double check the hole spacing on my Skyline to confirm.

Edit: I checked the hole spacing on my Skyline and it's right around 5/16 (.3125" or roughly 8mm) and the USA Knife Maker clip holes are a bit wider at .340" or just over 8.5mm. I think they should work, but a bit of fitting may be required.
