Skyline nice

In looking for a small, thin, hollowgrind knife, frends suggested the Skyline among others. I chose the Skyline because I had one years ago in the old steel, don't remember much of it.
I must say the Skyline fits my wants to a T= Easy to sharpen, gets super sharp, easy to carry. It's an apple slicer, tomatoslicer, sisal twine cutter. I'm glad I revisited this little gem.

I did a little moding(close your eyes collecters):
Moved the clip more to the end of the knife
Eched the clip and scotchbrite
Added a .050" liner to the other side
Opened the access to the lock lug

That looks really good! What did you use for the liner? I like the wider opening on the lock access too.

Very nice mods! Looks like you just might have made one of the best all-around EDC knifes better... if that's even possible! :)

Thanks, it is sweet.
Used .050" titanium(love titanium, light, strong) as a liner. Slightly thicker a bit heftier, does make it nicer.

I like the lock groove but if you were going to add another liner, why not just buy an original Zing or Zing tanto?

Love the clip, don't care for the liner. I'm not a fan of thicker heavier knives for edc. Ymmv. Nice work though!

I really like these mods. The only thing i don't like on my skyline is the clip placement. I think you nailed it. The added weight of the other liner wouldn't bother me at all either. The lock cut out looks like it came that way too.

Very well done sir.
