Skyline not easily flipping

Got a Kershaw Skyline yesterday and I love it! The only minor problem is that I can't use the flipper to flick it open without wrist action.
I've been flicking it open continuously, but it won't seem to change.

Reason is that I've seen on video of Skylines flipping without any wrist action out of the box.
Any ideas?

Loosen the pivot screw a bit til it flips like you want it to....

It will wear in after a bit, but not overnight, you might take it apart and wipe everything off, then apply some oil and reassemble....I do this anyways, but I like to cleanup burrs and rough edges

Technique is important as well. If you just push down, no matter how hard and fast, it's unlikely to open fully. Get as far forward and down on the flipper with a good hook in your finger. Even better if you have enough finger nail to get right at the base. Pull aft not down and it should work well. Holding the blade down makes it that much easier but it should work well using this technique even held blade up.

Great US made EDC....
