  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Skyline prior to March of 09?

It was just "13C26," no "N" in that one Kirbs.

They used to use a 440C before Sandvik entered the picture, but I believe the Skyline's first production was after the switch.

Based on my reading (please correct me if I'm wrong) Kershaw has produced Skylines using 4 steels?

Original 1760 Skyline - 13C26 - Also known as a Swedish stainless razor steel. ~ From Wikipedia

1760 Skylines after March 09 - 14C28N was designed by Sandvic at Kershaw's behest to have the edge properties of 13C26 but with increased corrosion resistance by adding nitrogen and chromium. Only available in Kershaw knives (as of 2012). ~ From Wikipedia

1760DAM - Damascus Steel from Alabama Damascus. Per RevDevil here on BF, "The steel in the Kershaw damascus blades is 52100, 203E, 5160, and 15N20."

1760BFC - S30V - Crucible's CPM S30V steel.

Did I miss any model/steel differences?
